- Let's assume that a 1/2" fuel line will be maxed out, flowing as much fuel as it can. What size hole/tube is needed for an air vent on the tank so that the flow of fuel will not be slowed by pulling

- Your right , I forgot to convert ft/min to ft/sec . At 1 gpm the air speed through a vent should be : 1/10" --28 mph 1/8" --18 mph 1/4" --4.5 mph 3/8" --2 mph 1/2" --1 mph
