Hi List, I mispoke about the ball joint construction in my previous post. The ball joint is not delrin but the bearing surface is-the housing is steel. This is the modern design previously mentioned.

please don't have the design changed to eliminate the Delrin bearing surface. If these ball joints are designed like many modern ball joints it will be constructed of a cast steel body that attaches

I agree- the Delrin as a bearing surface will last longer than steel- onsteel... Nothing wrong with Delrin as a bearing at all- I was just not clear on the housing material!

I agree with this recommendation. Delrin bearing modern ball joints attaches to the a-arm. the steel ball and capacity is a Delrin wear surfaces can potentially be rebuilt just characteristics as fri
