I replaced from the muffler back with no resonator and turbo type muffler and it sounds fine, not much of a difference at all (on a 1600). I did ask that the original cone tip be used and the muffler

That's the same setup I run too. Loud but not too loud. The Monza tip muffles just a bit but takes away the harshness except under full acceleration. It's acceptable while on the highway and doesn't
