- If I understand you right, you want to separate the drive-shafts from the differential? In that case, you should remove the bolts that connect the UJ (twisty coupling) flange to the differential out

- Also, please do not put yourself directly under the drive shaft when removing the last bolt. The shaft can fall without warning once the last bolt is off. Dave |\ | | | ______________________________

- Thanks to all who responded to my cry for a replacement drive shaft. I found a great example local (within 200 miles) and since I was in a bit of a hurry to get back on the road, I got it. Matthews F
