- I finally got the dash out of my BJ8 and it turns out it is an aftermarket replacement also. It was mounted in an inventive way so I can't use the old panels as a template for mounting the new. Does

- Yes, that is correct, the bottom of the metal and wooden panels should form a flush/straight line. Best Regards, Alan
