Jay - I was hoping it was something other than what I suspect I did, when I installed my new full syncro overdrive transmission. It may be that I used a non syncro bell housing and throw out assembly

Sounds like you have air in your slave or MC. First bleed the slave by closing the bleeder screw and pushing the slave rod back and forth (hmmmmm....) then bleed the MC by the bleeder screw. (hmmmmm.
