Just a reminder here. YOU are they only scrutineer that is really likely to see these signs. Tech inspecters rarely have time to do more than make sure you have 4 wheels, let alone check every spoke

That also is true, however............ As far as the wire wheels: broken or loose spokes obviously, a tire iron will find those just by running it around the spokes. Some drivers resist that because

I never used factory disc wheels; originally I bought some very expensive mag wheels from GB (not Minilites) that were resoundingly ugly; I relegated them to the rain tires and got American aluminum
