Brown is alway power source and usually unswitched from the fuse block and volt reg. black is always ground. solid green is aux (switched) power, usually from the fuse block. You'll need a schematic

No brown is unswitched hot. Usually directly from the battery. In you case, the brown wire should get attached to the headlight/ign switch (terminal "B" for Battery) this will power the lights and ig
