If the pedal eases to the floor and you are not losing brake fluid, it's your master cylinder. Rebuild/replace it. That will fix it. Larry

I'll bet dollar to doughnuts that it's a bad seal/valve/etc in the master cylinder. Basically, under pressure no fluid is supposed to get back to the reservoir, and it is. I'm not really mentally up

if there is no loss of brake fluid, seems most likely the master cylinder is leaking back toward the reservior joe
