Has anyone installed Bob's console in their Bricklin??? I am wondering if the tan plastic bezel under the shifter is kept in place or if it is removed. The shift mechanism does not seem to fit right

I have Bob's console. Looks great. I removed the tan shift bezel. Because I have 5/8" of insulation under the carpet I had to put a spacer under the Gear Selector cover assembly. Unfortunately this r

It's been awhile, but yes, I removed the tan saddle. You will need to install a few washers under the shift console. I seem to remember the number of washers is not the same for each bolt though. Set
