You should have replaceable valve seats installed. Then you can have the old (burned) ones removed and replaced without having to worry about going oversize to do the repairs. Plus they should be Har

Hi Ted, I put the rest of the mods (not too drastic really) on the list, but here it is: a hotter cam Dual HS2's polish intakes & exhaust CC & mill the head (larger valves?) balance bottom end header

first, i think you are mistaken with the 1300 engine. the difference between the 1500 and 1300 engines are the pistons have a shorter pin to deck height, and the crank has a longer stroke. other than

And I hate to nitpick, but I will! :-) Just so that everyone understands, "main" bearings usually refer to those in which the crankshaft runs. "Big end" or even more obviously connecting rod bearings
