- I've seen ads for a product that attaches to your battery and prevents it from running down if lights or other battery draining accessory is left on. I know Sears and others make a battery with this

- Harbor Freight Tools $7.97, a must when the car is not being used this maintains a good solid battery, also buy some VX-6 from J.C. Whitney which kills sulfur acid build-ups which is the main killer
