Ok guys, I have a question. I found among my piles of parts an old JVC cassette deck my brother had in his Firebird about 10-12 years ago. I've hooked it up to power and speakers and it still works.

Hello Chris, i wouldn't try it... i'm an electrician, not an electronics guy, but the output of the tape deck SHOULD be 12 volts.. it could fry the input of your kenwood... and that would be bad... .

I have a KAC-745. But it does have the input sensitivity controls. But it measures the input in Volts, not Watts. I'll try it at minimum (1.0V) and increase from there as you suggest. Thanks -=Chris
