Hi Bill, The plates are attached in my car, TD3 22308, with oval head screws. These are plated brass, but I cannot tell if the plating was once shiny or dull chrome at this age. The the oval head is

I have considered the possibility of glueing the plates to the sills with a thick layer of some some kind of silicone. This would allow for a better fit to the not always flat threshold surface. Any

The plates fit well enough, by the standards of the time when the cars were built. Glue would hold them well enough, but they would not look as MG built the cars. Do your plates have screw holes dri
