The idea that radial tires won't handle as well as bias ply on any car sounds a little strange to me. Stock TR-3's just don't handle very well with stock suspensions, compared to some other cars. Ji

As the "classic" Michelin X radial was a factory-approved and factory-installed option almost from the start of TR production, I doubt this is the case. Some automakers in the 1970s made a big advert
