Not sure about fitting to a Rover/Buick block. But the GM/Delco 10SI is a great alternator and are available chromed from any us parts store.. I have a 10SI (not chrome) on my stock MGB motor and it

I used a chrome Delco one wire 90 amp alternator from www.jegs.com with a bracket I bought from D and D on my Buick engine. Dan's brakets were engineered well. It hangs on the right side of the engin

Try an AC-Delco. Depending on the water pump/pulley combination, these can usually be shimmed fore and aft to get proper pulley allignment. Kent K. SATXUSA
