- Hello all - I'm returning to the Spit fold after almost 30 years absence, and it's to the same car I left 30 years ago. I bought a 66 MkII in 1973, drove it for a few years and sold it to my brother.

- The glass is held in by a pinch grip in the bottom rail that holds the glass to the channels. Originally there seems to be a gunk of sorts that helped 'glue' it in place that you can usually just pry

- All the internal stuff must come out. There are four (4) bolts holding the glass guide rails in place (two each). The regulator (channel?) that runs the BOTTOM length of the glass must be disconnect
