This is an area that confuses the heck out of me, but not that concerned either. However, on my '72 TR6, there seems to be only a retard mechanism and no advance. Could that be true? Anyway, these s

Chet, It's possible that you have the incorrect distributor, or your car is not really a 1972. The '72's only have vacuum retard. They use mechanical advance. I don't think any adjustments at the car
