I drove my 1600 last night for the first time in months (after adjusting the clutch) and was amazed at how much better it pulls in 1st and 2nd than my 2000 solex 5 speed. Anyone switch the rear ends

I drove Roman Rist's 1966 1600 and will agree that off the line his car is faster than my 67 2000 Solex. The Solex powered engine and the different gearing on the 2000 model make for great top end p

How do you like the 4.62 gearing? I am contemplating putting my 4.62 LSD in my 2000. I've got a 5.13 locker in it now and all first gear is good for is burning my 225x50x14 R1s. :-) Fun but not fast
