I took a good look tonight at the carbs for the Rat. There is some side-to-side play on the butterflys (the front more than the rear). I sprayed a bit of WD-40 on the outside of the bushing and after

Some side to side play is fine. The throttle shaft should have a little clearance so some WD-40 will leak through. The best way to check them is on the car with it running. The shaft to bushing clear
