- Yes I am sure its a torque tube, and I have already removed the axles, and I am trying to get the axle bearings. Last night I rented a slide hammer with claws on the end to pull my bearings/seals but

- I'm a bit confused-- I didn't think a torque tube setup would mate up to a later model rear as you stated the previous owner installed a later model rear end in your truck. Doesn't the tube seal up a

- The PO probably meant that he got better or (newer) gears b/c he also said he went 80-90 the whole way from Tulsa to Dallas with no hassle, with the 235, 4 on the floor , and the (better)? rear end
