- The blue silicone stuff that Locktite, NAPA and others sell works real well too, though if you are sloppy it sticks out like a sore thumb. At least we don't have to worry about fouling an oxygen sens

- Forgot to mention that Aviation Permatex is different; it is not silicone based. It is a thick brown liquid about the color and consistency of brown molasses. . . in January; very thick and slow flow
