When you ordered the rack and tie rods, did you tell the vendor it was for a pickup? When I bought my IFS, it was suggested to mention that it was for a pickup. I've been told that pickups require l

I think what you need are the rack extensions. It moves the joint further out. I got mine from Yogi's. You don't want longer tie rods. That changes the geometry somewhat compared to a stock MII setup
