The most rearward connection (the one your oil pressure guage is connected to) is the TO FILTER connection. It should be just above a buldge which runs the entire length of the block. That buldge is

I have seen various motors with an external line plumbed for oil to the rockers. I just recently pulled a valve cover off of a 59 at the boneyard which had this connection in place. I'm wondering if

When oil passages get plugged this is a quick fix. Have also heard people say it improves oiling to the rockers. Grant 50 3100 oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
