I used 10 guage in my truck, but this is probably a little heavier than I need. I've seen as big a wire as 8 guage used, but that seems like real overkill, even with a 110A alternator. 12 guage shoul

Unless you're going more than 11 feet, use #8 wire according to my AC Delco spec book -Tom Allen could tell me what size wire I should run from the alternator to the battery? TIA. Tom Allen Seattle,
