I'm having a hard time understanding how a misnomer means that a category should be integrated into another one. If your issue is with the name "Street Prepared", then why not just propose changing

I don't think SP looks like it is in trouble right now. And I'm not suggesting that SP be merged into Prepared, right now. I DO think that in the future that the category will begin to decline becau

I have to disagree with you. There are fewer and fewer prepared cars in solo except for CP. If they let GT cars run rampant there, it would diminish as well. The gap between the solo community and cl

Our sport, since the introduction of the R compound tire, has been at the mercy of the tire manufacturers who want to participate/market to our group. Yokahama came, left and is now back. General was

If the Azenis were more expensive than Hoosiers, you might see attrition, but perhaps not all that much. The Azenis is still useful as a street tire.... (at least when new) What I suggested is a bit

I wonder how many ST soloists actually drive, in good weather, on their race tires? Your argument is completely valid Mike. Driving across town to an event is different than a 2-3 hour commute that m

No, it is designed to keep a tire that doesn't fit the STS class, because of unstreetability, cost, or (lack of) longevity from being dominant. It's dominant because it's cheap. More people buy them
