It would be best to make clear which Laycock OD you are discussing, Nolan, as this is NOT true of an A-type. An A-type has a hydraulic accumulator, meaning it can store enough pressure (for awhile)

Actually, you responded to Darrell's reply about his GT6+. Which I agree probably has a D-type ... but I'll bet someone somewhere has stuffed an A-type into a GT6. And since you didn't include that
