I have the 1275 (12CC DAH) in 'The Beast' running reasonably well... with an irritating minor problem ;^( If I start the engine every day the problem doesn't happen... But if I wait for 4 or 5 days a
I'll guess it is oil running down the valve stems into the engine. ...bill == --Original Message-- From: spridgets-bounces+corvallis=peoplepc.com@autox.team.net [mailto:spridgets-bounces+corvallis=pe
What he said! :) I have a Tercel that had the same problem. New valve stem seals cured it. -=Chris Chris King http://home.comcast.net/~kvcbk/ <--Original Message--> I'll guess it is oil running down
Have you tried the patch? Possibly putting up a few well placed no smoking signs would help. _______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html http://ww
I just have to ask...but how do you find papers large enough to roll your engine? And does one filter that or use a non-filter? Then how well do they burn, once you do get them lit? Again, just had t
I think that you have misunderstood. You don't roll it in paper. It's a pipe mechanism. The mouthpiece can be found at the back of the car. Careful to inhale only, ... you wouldn't want to blow up th
I wonder if one could possibly dismantle the engine and smoke it in a hookah? This would remove any paper products and or needs of accidentally blowing the err engine shall we say? Hookah can impart
Pardon my ignorance, but ... that's water cooled, right? I wonder if one could possibly dismantle the engine and smoke it in a hookah? This would remove any paper products and or needs of accidentall

You can replace the valve stem seals without draining coolant and removing the head. (rope trick) But it is probably almost as quick to remove the head and you get a chance to clean up the combustion
Don't know about a Spridget motor but many motors you can replace the valve seals withOUT pulling the head. On my Dino, I broke a spark plug, welded a air fitting on it, put the plug with air fitting
Agree with Guy... Pulling the head is not that difficult or time consuming. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace the head gasket and intake/exhaust gaskets too. Then you can take the head to good machin
Another way is, as as already said, is the rope trick. Get a few feet of fine soft nylon rope smaller in diameter than the plug hole. Feed it in (not all the way, DOH!) and hand turn the engine to pu
So youse guys remove the rocker pedestals without the rest of the head studs? I've never gotten a definitive answer whether that's OK or not. _______________________________________________ Support T
