Unfortunately the color codes and other extra information was not present on that year's commission plates. So it is impossible to know what color it was unless there is some unmolested paint still

I find that the best place to see the org paint and color is under the thick sound damping material on the back seat area. and vin plates didnt show the dates until the mk3s. mk2s did show paint and
