Hello, This is my first post to the group. My 93 SHO MTX generally runs very well. However the 4-5 times per year the temperature exceeds 95 degrees the SHO will stall and then it will have to cool 1

Fuel pump getting weak, and allowing vapor lock. This was the main problem a few SHOs had driving out to the CA Convention a couple of years ago. 100-degree heat shows this right up!! Ron Porter Hell

Considering that some FI motorcycles will boil the gas in their tanks (Summer gas boils around 400F), but not vapor lock, I believe it must be very rare to see vapor lock in modern FI cars. More like
