- My neighbor is going south for the winter and wants a switch that will light a lamp when (if) the house falls below a set temp like 50F. any ideas where to find one? thanks skip _____________________

- You can get 120V thermostats and hardwire them; they fit into a standard outlet box. That's the most flexible solution. There are gizmos that plug into a wall socket and have a thermo switch in them,
