Has anyone ever attempted to change SOME of the shingles on a house? Any luck getting colour matched? My roof suffered some damage in the "big winter" this year, but only in one place, which happens

In my opinion, you'll never get the color to match. How it will look will depend on the number and location of the shingles to be replaced. And how prominent that "front and centre" location is. What

I don't think you will be able to get the shingles to match due to weathering. Have you considered swapping shingles with a less noticeable spot, or scattering the new shingles throughout the roof? _

I didn't mention it, but even matching, the old ones were faded and so didn't match the new ones perfectly. however, the new ones faded as well quickly and now you couldn't tell by looking. I'd defin
