- I've got a similar clock. It's attached to the wall with a molly screw through the back of the case, near the top. There's a spacer for about an inch of standoff from the wall. The clock has been in

- I can't think of any reason why a solid mount wouldn't be fine... It may possibly transmit sound more to the wall when the chimes ring, but shouldn't matter otherwise. No clue on this one, unfortuna
