- I looked, but didn't find. Could someone please send a link to the procedure on setting up SU carbs on a 2000? I just can't recall how, though it has only been 30 years since the last time I did it.

- I have always set the mixture at idle, then balanced the carbs at higher speed, which is consistent with the Nissan shop manual. I believe adjusting the mixture at speed (after adjusting it at idle)

- There was a recent discussion on the list and/or 311s.org regarding those holes. Sorry, but I don't feel like searching the archives myself. IIRC, they're casting bosses that are plugged with screws
