There should be no problem, but you MUST use an early banana shaped gasket to seal the water holes. Anytime you have a mis-matched block and head, either way, use a banana head gasket. The round hol

I don't use a sealant and I don't think you need one. However, I did use copper Never Seize on my aluminum head and studs to try to keep the corrosion down on the studs. Bob Bob, Do you recommend us
