I don't know the ChumpCar rules but Lemon's would have given us a tough time buying new wheels under the "safety" exemption. I bought a set of old aluminum race wheels from Sam Halkias for the Lemon'

I have been afraid to use better brake pads on the TR6. I should try a set but I suspect we would wear race pads out before the day ends. There may be a good endurance race pad out there but the Hawk

I am using the Toyota caliper in a race application. There's a little more area under the pad than stock, but I'm not sure it's a huge improvement. Makes it easier to find calipers and brake pads tho

Because of the rules of my race organization, I can't changed my calipers and have to maintain the stock configuration. I use EBC Green stuff pads and I'm very happy with them. I tried the Hawkspads
