As I am about to finish assembly on the engine for the Spit it occurred to me I have never had to measure for pushrod length. My question is what is the proper way to measure for the correct length?

Jeff, since we supply the original alloy pushrods as sold by British Leyland's US comp. department, here is the answer. You need to measure teh "effective" lenght of the pushrod. This is the distance
