You may be better off checking out the brakes on the Tiger, as I believe these were uprated. Before you do anything too drastic, I would also check whether you have the stock SV brakes installed, as

Someone suggested I try my brakes out a bit more. I got up to 20 mph, and just slammed them down. I left nice long skids. Mind you, not how I'd like to do it in an emergency. I think my brakes are FI
