FWIW, racing organizations require new seat belt webbing be installed in race cars every 5 years. Certainly, it isn't mandatory on a street car. Mine are original as well, and the webbing is a sun fa

At a minimum, you should overhaul your existing belt retractors. One of mine was rusted solid, and would not have locked the belt in the event of a crash. Yikes! If the webbing is tatty, or sun fade
