i had asked a few days ago about what the original color of the valve cover is on a 1977 Midget 1500cc engine. I received two responses; Dove Gray and Robin's Egg. Then I looked at the original sales

Looking in Horler's Original Sprit & Midget I see two colors of valve covers: it looks like the home market 1500s had a silver color while those delivered here to the states had a rather red-orange
