I can't speak for some of the high dollar classes (ie. AS, SS), but you can buy a car, compete, and win in HS for $5000. True, you can get into an FM for that, but they're kind of tough to commute in

The '89- '91 Civic Si is already an HS car so it would make sense to leave it where it is. Remember, we're only talking 108 horsepower. The CRX is quite a bit shorter and lower than the Civic. It has

I could be wrong here, but don't the SOHC Neon's have a better torque curve for autocrossing? They are separated in road racing because you are able to keep the DOHC in the top end where the power is
