- i'm thinking this is a valve adjustment issue? when i start the car (the filter is off) i get backfire out of the carbs. got one quick flame even! after i get it running that doesn't happen anymore.

- the dpo was in the process of "improving" the rear end of my car before he fortunately lost interest and sold the car to me. i believe all he actually did was change the mounting holes for the tail
