I got the head off last week and found that one of the valve seats was loose. I went skiing this last weekend and was able to visit Mike Kerr on the way back from Tahoe picking up the needed gaskets

I've replace the head with the valve seat that had dropped down. Unfortunately the car is still not running correctly. At about 3000rpm the car stumbles. This happens in all gears. It comes up to 30

Thanks for the input. Checked the distributor and all looked fine there. I tightened bolts on manifold and that seemed to help. Maybe there was some kind of vacuum leak at higher RMP. Dana ___~@ \__
