I've seen this method in use a lot at Lime Rock, both with the low-buck racers as well as with the guys under the huge canopies with the toter homes and huge trailers. Must be a pretty good method.

Other British cars, my MGs especially, have always called for 20w50 motor oil in the transmissions, and sometimes 30w is specified as well, particular for MGAs. I have spoken with various specialists
