Honest, you have a roadster. The clue is the 3rd character of the VIN - "N" This was the code for Roadsters (Tourers according to the factory) GT's on the other hand had the third character as a "D"

I've also been toying with this same idea, and the filtration part is relativly simple. By using a flat air filter from (I believe) one of the Sabaru models, it could be placed in a fabricated "box"

The piston diameter will be basically the bore diameter minus the piston I say basically, because the piston, depending on make and design, may have more than one diameter, and/or may in fact be oval

The glass pack is a "generic" Item I picked up at the local Western Auto (before they morphed into Parts America). The 1 3/4" pipe is the same as stock, and is connected to the G/P with a 1 3/4 X 2"
