I thought of threadlocker--which is a CA--but figured it might be a bit messy and with limited surface area--unlike bolt threads--epoxy will bond stronger. For that matter, why not use pop rivets? bs

Depends if you're upwind or downwind. My main concern would be the heavy metals (lead, vanadium, probably some arsenic, etc.). As far as those go, any exposure is too much. Plus, downwind there will
