I've never seen anyone reuse the seat covers. Usually that's the reason for the rebuild. Also, given that new vinyl is only a couple of hundred dollars, it would seem a waste of time. -- George Richa

Yeah, but suppose the vinyl tears while you're putting it back on, or shortly thereafter. Old vinyl just isn't as flexible as new. To me it seems like using old nuts and bolts during a rebuild. Bette
