So compression is based on cylinder volume? More volume, more air to compress, bigger explosion... Then would the head have to be worked on to compensate? Because it could be over 10 to 1 compression

I think that would be the "Best" way to do it. If the TR6 tracks with the Spitfires, it would appear to be that way. The running gear on my Spit went together much easier before the tub went on than
