I tapped and threaded the exhaust manifold, right at the chamber where the individual tubes meet. It actually could go almost anywhere, but the further away from the engine, the longer it will take

Don't look at the Tri-pods to be any great source of light. They look great for the period, but if you want to see where you are going, a cheap sealed beam is better and the halogens can't be beat. H

Actually, he did specify _halogen_. I've seen tripod halogens, they're plenty bright, brighter than an ordinary sealed beam or even the "sealed beam halogens" you can buy at Pep Boys. Randall
