I also had to replace the bonnet fastener assembly on my Tr6 recently. I think the unit I used came from Moss. I is also flimsy and it was necessary to do some bending to make things fit. It function

I've just joined this group so I don't now the history of this thread. However I also replaced my bonnet catch with a Moss unit and was surprised at it's lack of rigidity. Does anyone have a source

Do you still have the original latch? If you do you can sandblast it and use a 4 step sray system that Eastwood has to make them look like cadmium plated. Kevin Andrews Siler City,NC TR-250(CD7766L)

Has anyone tried getting this part from Rimmer Bros. - The RHD bracket is the same as the LHD one (which is one reason the d**n cables break) There parts may be of better quality than those supplied
